Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (MW2) offers players an invaluable tactical camera upgrade, especially on larger maps and game modes. Players can use it to spot enemies and objects hidden in the environment that could potentially help set ambushes or take out enemy players from a distance, locate landmines and explosives, as well as supply crates or loot items hidden nearby.
Warzone 2.0 DMZ players have reported difficulty with completing one of the faction missions that require using a tactical camera – Security Checkpoint Faction Mission requires players to deploy one at the Central Station in Vondel and mark 10 enemies with it – however some are having difficulty finding their Tactical Camera. Although relatively straightforward in nature, players seem confused as where their Tactical Camera may be hiding.
The Tactical Camera can be found at the Central Station POI near Vondel in the northern portion of the map. First ensure that this POI allows camera placement; once satisfied, select your Tactical Camera and place it here ensuring an open area with clear lines-of-sight from this deployment location.
Once deployed, a Tactical Camera will immediately begin scanning an area and notifying players of enemy presence. Although you can set this to automatic, for optimal results it is advised that players manually control and mark enemies as they emerge so as to avoid being killed by incoming fire and complete their mission successfully.
Note that the Tactical Camera can be destroyed with shots fired from any weapon, or by shooting down enemies to disable its camera. While this method might appear effective at first glance, doing it carelessly could end in significant progress loss – to protect progress try hiding behind cover and carefully targeting targets with your aim.
The Tactical Camera can be found as a field upgrade at the starting area of DMZ, acquired through exploration or from other players, or found within various crates and caches scattered around the environment. Furthermore, players can purchase this device from vendors in Hafid Port city itself.
